People who are both strategists and implementers are few and far between, but Alfonso is one. So while some are discussing the best moves from last night's match, he is already scheduling meetings and preparing new business proposals.
What is more, his knowledge of digital marketing, SEO and ecommerce enhances his abilities to convert leads into potential clients. In fact, Alfonso is someone who can spot new business opportunities in the most unlikely places: a tennis court, the popcorn queue ... even the morning traffic jams on the M30! Such a socially active person could only come from the capital.

His perfectionist character is reflected—day by day—in the execution of social media strategies. He collaborates in the Social Media Department as a junior social media executive. So much perfection can make other people despair, although everything is compensated by his friendly attitude.
And, as nobody is perfect, Arnau has a big problem remembering names or titles… Although he is clear about his favorite movie, Seven, and his preferred show, The Wire. But, if we ask him what book he would recommend, he is more undecided. He hesitates between Cuatro amigos (Four Friends) by David Trueba, and Slightly Out of Focus by Robert Capa. He also doubts a lot about his favorite singer or band. It could be Tom Misch, Manolo Garcia, Amy Winehouse, Skinshape.... (Good thing he has a hard time remembering names, right?). 😆
Bibi was born in Cambados, Galicia, and she is our most international Galega. She always goes around with a jacket, even when it's 40 degrees Celsius outside; because "you never know when you might need it." A dreamer who wants to transform the world with her energy and positivity. The phrase that best defines her is a Galician expression that says that everything will always turn out all right: malo será.
Her education in Translation and Interpreting from the University of Vigo and in Management of Public Relations and Communication Agencies from the Autonomous University of Barcelona is crucial in our Social Media Department and adds value to Smartbrand's internationalization and multilanguage services.
Bibi's restless spirit has taken her to 16 different countries throughout the world, ending up in Barcelona. However, what Bibi misses the most about her homeland are her dogs (Yuli and Laika), her cat (Greison), and her turtles (Rick and Morty). Nonetheless, she has learned to shake off her morriña with her favorite hobby: drinking vermouth on Sundays in El Born.
From the first day, Cristina showed all her desire and her ability to cope with news and changes. She loves to face challenges and investigate until she masters what is new to her. And although she does not consider herself a geek, she enjoys learning to use new technologies.
Cristina works as a social media executive and is an essential support in the Customer Service that our Organic Department manages. Our favorite TikToker confirms that 'white noise' is very effective for sleep. Videos that have hairdryer noises stand out on her Forever Favorite List. She is also a faithful supporter of RCD Espanyol, a Spanish soccer team. We see this assiduously in our follow-up meetings, where she wears a wide range of jerseys from her beloved club—at the same time that she makes us green with envy with her weekend plans.
Eder is the first Smartbrander ready to dive into the pool. But that’s not a figure of speech or irony, he’s an active swimmer and a complete devotee of the sport!
As sb's managing director, he takes things much more calmly than in the pool, using his degree in Business Administration and Management, and master's in Account Auditing for budget control, billing and a host of other graphs and excels. Engracia is very active and restless. And the only thing you can fear from her is giving her more than two cups of coffee per day. Although she suffers from trypophobia, so you can always show her a honeycomb and see how her nerves are taking away.
Her bachelor's degree in Journalism and Communication Sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid and her experience in Marketing and Communication make Engracia the perfect match for the Organic Team of Smartbrand. She is a breath of fresh air for the Social team in the management of social networks and the planning of special actions.
If you put together a millennial with a person from the silent generation, the result is Engracia. A “geek” who adores Catan, movies, series... and who combines all of it with her "nana" hobbies: sewing bags, hats or fanny packs; doing the football pools every week; and playing Bingo every other Sunday.

Eva loves reading, hiking, travelling, sailing – hobbies that might suggest a quiet and peaceful life. But all is not as it seems. Eva has lived in Japan and Singapore, crossed the Atlantic by sailboat and walked in the Sinai Desert. Is that enough?
Her extensive experience in managing large Google Adwords and SEO campaigns and being a natural polyglot (she speaks German, French, English, Italian and Portuguese) bring added value to Smartbrand, where she provides support as a PPC Specialist (AWF).

With a Degree in Audiovisual Communication and studies in New Communication Trends, Laura assures us that she will never have too many Twitter accounts to streamline or Facebook events to attend. The only difference is that while the accounts do get streamlined in record time, she is more "Interested" in the events than actually attending them.
As a pilates teacher and winner of the prize for the fastest bivouac at her Scout camp, our social team lead has managed (after long hours of meditation and zen) to make herself the perfect colleague for [sb_url url_relative='people/marc-tortosa' target='_blank' rel="noopener" texto='Marc'], and they are occasionally seen sharing hiking routes. Luis is very passionate about Eurovision and not very fond of coriander. He devours all the books he can—El lector de Julio Verne (by Almudena Grandes) is his favorite one—while he plans all the trips that his free time allows him to do. Maialen is an animal lover and with her 3 dogs (Kala, Blas and Pipo) she proves to be the biggest dog-lover in sb. Some Smartbranders don't think so. But has anyone else gone on a trip to the Philippines and rescued a dog from the other side of the world? Maialen is the only one. Try to beat that!
She studied Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Mondragon University. With her specializations in Digital Marketing, Automation and Growth Hacking, Maialen is an extremely organized, transparent and curious marketer. And after having worked at Dog Vivant (seriously?), she joined Smartbrand as a junior growth marketer, where she continues evolving at a great pace.
Our young Duranguesa says that she has a bad memory for names, and that is why she has a notebook where she writes down all the countries where she has been. (She must have visited 26, although she doesn't remember much). As a good Smartbrander she's also fond of TV shows, but she "cheats a bit" because she watches the last episode of each season to avoid surprises. The rest of the Smartbranders were very grateful that she didn't spoil the end of Game Of Thrones :)
With a Psychology degree and a master's in Digital Marketing, Marc analyzes, conceptualizes and implements social media strategies and activities. With common sense and (psycho)logical techniques, he manages to build long-lasting, solid relationships between brands, products, businesses and users.
"As much prudence is needed to rule an empire as a Twitter account", he often says, and Marc is a very prudent boy and a quiet man, like John Wayne in that great John Ford movie.

After working in advertising agencies, large corporations, and start-ups, Nacho came to sb ready to share his social media knowledge, common sense, and exceptional table football skills.
As head of client services, his duties vary and include the day-to-day running of the Service Department, supporting the strategies and proposals developed by the different teams and contacting and managing our clients.
Catalan by birth but Navarran at heart, Nacho is a socially hyperactive person who always has something to do. Meeting up with him is not easy, but if you manage to, rest assured that there is no detail from TV series, music or comics he isn't ready to comment on. And you can always bring a smile to his face by asking how many burpees he's done today. The crossfit community has made him one of their own!
Otto is the best bodyguard we could have. You’ll always find him making the rounds of the office asking for nothing more than a stroke in exchange, or perhaps looking deep into the drawers in search of food. And if he finds the leftovers from the day before, bingo!

This Vigo native is a vegetarian cooking enthusiast who exclusively practices the religion of Jamie Oliver in her kitchen, preparing succulent tupperware boxes of the highest class every day ... though the odd combination lets her down. She would never ever include steamed vegetables or, worse still, Russian salad in her dishes!
Her specializations in Motion Graphics and Digital Publication Design, make Patricia brave enough to add a rotoscoping effect (frame by frame) to an animation.
A pernickety detail-obsessive, she only creates exceptional designs because, to quote a verse from the famous Vanilla Ice song, “Anything less than the best is a felony”. Hang on. Quoting Vanilla Ice. Come on, Patricia.
Paula Acuña is a talkative and outgoing person who never turns down a good plan. In her spare time, she enjoys being with her friends, watching series, traveling and playing chess. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she developed a keen interest in geography. She can now identify almost any flag and locate any country on a map.
Two words define her: dynamic and curious! She works as a junior finance executive, generating payment proposals, controlling invoicing, following up on budgets and providing administrative support. Despite being very organized and always having everything under control, her mother still thinks she is a mess. We won't get into family arguments. But at Smartbrand we can only say that we are delighted to have her on our team.
Her favorite movie is one that she used to watch when she was a child: Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron. And her beloved series is Game of Thrones. (Although she wasn't very happy with its ending). Queen is the music group she likes the most. Although, when she has a bad day, she prefers to listen to Adele. And if she had to choose only one book, she would choose Brave New World by Aldous Huxley.
At first, Said may seem shy; but as he gains confidence, you discover that he is a very kind and friendly person—always looking for the good side of things. Besides enjoying spending time with his friends, Said loves playing video games (alone or in company), reading superhero and manga comics, drawing and even cooking. And he loves animals, especially cats! Although he already has two, he could have hundreds.
In his daily work as a Junior Motion Designer, Said develops the images and animations that are part of the different projects within the Experience Design Department. Here we can see his proactive, organized and detail-oriented character.

Sofia is a thoughtful and observant person! This allows her to adapt quickly to every circumstance. In her spare time she enjoys reading, crocheting all kinds of clothes and accessories, and exploring her favorite social platform: TikTok.
Sofia studied Advertising Management and Design, and during that period she cultivated a great passion for the golden ratio. At sb, she puts into practice her vision and knowledge as a Digital Designer, and combines graphic design functions with her skills to develop websites, banners and whatever is necessary to meet the needs of our clients.

Teo transmits joy wherever he goes, and he loves to sing. On the street, at home, in the shower, while working... he is always humming a song! Fortunately, he is not bad. In fact, he was the singer of a band for a couple of years.
